Description of the access route to the apartment!
Due to the reconstruction of the bridge over the Jizera River in Jablonec nad Jizerou from April 7 to December 10, 2026, it is necessary to use an alternative route. The bridge in the city center (between the STOP store and the "U Zemánků" intersection) is completely impassable. Use the following procedure depending on which direction you are coming from:
1. Arrival from Tanvald / Harrachov / Rokytnice nad Jizerou
This direction is easier because you avoid the closed city center:
- From road no. 14, turn towards Paseky nad Jizerou.
- Continue through Sklenařice.
- In Sklenařice, turn onto road no. 290 down to Jablonec nad Jizerou.
- After about 3 km of winding roads, you will arrive directly in Jablonec nad Jizerou:
- You will pass the ski resort: On the right side you will pass the Ski Resort Kamenec and on the left side its large parking lot.
- Main turnoff from No. 290: Approximately 100 meters after the ski resort parking lot, slow down and turn left sharply uphill (before you reach the bridge under construction).
- Ascent: You will drive uphill on the asphalt road for about 80 to 100 meters.
- First intersection: Turn right at the first possible turnoff
- Destination: Apartment Ulrich is a house with a yellow/orange facade (No. 568).
2. Arrival from Semily / Jilemnice
If you are driving on road No. 14 from the lower direction, do not drive to the bridge at all, because you would have to leave your car on the other side of the river and walk across the temporary footbridge.
- Detour via Roprachtice: From Jilemnice or Semily, head towards Poniklá and Roprachtice.
- From Roprachtice, continue to Vysoké nad Jizerou
- From Vysoké nad Jizerou, exit to Jablonec nad Jizerou.
- You will arrive directly at the bridge under construction. Turn left towards Sklenařice
- Slow down: Even before you pass the large parking lot of the Kamenec ski resort on the right, you will see a turnoff to a steep slope on your right.
- Ascent: You will drive along the asphalt road uphill for about 80 to 100 meters.
- First intersection: At the first possible turnoff, turn right
- Destination: Apartment Ulrich is a house with a yellow/orange facade (no. 568).
